WOLF TOOTH Compression Plug

This compression plug provides an anchor point to set the headset preload on road, MTB, or gravel bikes with carbon forks. It is important to use a compression plug – aka expander plug – in forks with a carbon steerer tube instead of a star nut. Pair this with a Wolf Tooth stem cap for a bit of color.

Compatibility

• Forks with 1 1/8" steerer tubes.
• Designed for carbon steerer tubes but works with metal steerer tubes with ID from 23.5mm to 24.5mm.
• Never use a star nut on forks with carbon steerers.
